In order to move forward with the insurance, please provide the following inspection(s) as soon as possible:

 

4-Point Inspection - this is a required inspection which helps the insurance company to confirm eligibility.  For the inspection to be valid, it would need to be dated within one year of the effective date of the policy.

 

Wind Mitigation Inspection - this is an optional inspection, but is recommended as the purpose of the inspection is to find discounts for your insurance policy.  For the inspection to be valid it would need to be dated with five years of the effective date of the policy.  In order to perform this inspection, the inspector will need adequate attic access.  If attic access is an issue, this inspection may not be possible.  Ask your inspector whether or not this inspection would benefit you.
